Dr. Anil Agarwal is a Board-Certified Prosthodontist with 44 years of clinical experience in dental implants, full-mouth reconstruction, and the replacement of missing teeth. He earned his DDS from King George's Medical School in 1974 and completed a Master's in Oral Biology with specialist training in Prosthodontics at Northwestern University. He went on to found the Implant Education Center at Northwestern University, where he taught implant technique for more than two decades. Together with his team at Winterset Dental Care, Dr. Agarwal has placed over 22,000 dental implants, making the practice one of the highest-volume implant centers in the Chicago area. He has authored four books on dental topics and invented two dental products, including one designed to help cancer patients and people with low tissue tolerance. A worldwide lecturer on implants and full-mouth reconstruction for more than 38 years, he received the Northwestern University Alumni Merit Award in 2008. Winterset Dental Care is one of only two practices in greater Chicago to earn the Nobel Biocare Center of Excellence Award. Dr. Agarwal approaches every patient with the conviction that lasting dental health begins with listening carefully and building a treatment plan around each person's specific needs.
