Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using myspecialtydentist.com ("the Site"), operated by My Specialty Dentist ("MSD," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Site.

Description of Service

My Specialty Dentist is a dental specialist directory and educational content hub. We provide:

• A searchable directory of dental specialists across the United States, seeded from publicly available data sources including the National Plan and Provider Enumeration System (NPPES).
• Educational articles about dental conditions, treatments, procedures, symptoms, and related topics.
• Tools to help patients find and connect with dental specialists in their area.

User Accounts and Provider Profiles

Certain features of the Site may require you to create an account. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• All activity that occurs under your account.
• Providing accurate and current information.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that we reasonably believe contain fraudulent information.

Provider Claims and Data Accuracy

Provider profiles on the Site are initially populated from publicly available data (primarily the NPPES/NPI Registry). Dental professionals may claim and update their profiles to add or correct information.

• Providers who claim profiles represent that they are authorized to do so and that the information they provide is accurate.
• MSD does not independently verify all provider-submitted information beyond NPI data. Users should independently verify provider credentials, licensure, and insurance acceptance.
• Providers may not misrepresent their credentials, specializations, or practice details.

Intellectual Property

All content on the Site, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of My Specialty Dentist or its content contributors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

• You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from our content without prior written permission.
• Limited quoting or linking to our content for non-commercial, informational purposes is permitted with proper attribution.
• The "MSD Recognized" badge and related marks are proprietary to My Specialty Dentist.

Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these terms.
• Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the Site in an automated manner without our written consent.
• Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely claim an affiliation with a dental practice or professional.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Site or servers or networks connected to the Site.
• Post or transmit any content that is defamatory, obscene, fraudulent, or otherwise objectionable.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, My Specialty Dentist and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses, arising from:

• Your use of or inability to use the Site.
• Any reliance on content or information provided through the Site.
• Any conduct or content of any third party on the Site, including providers.
• Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your data.

In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you have paid to us, if any, in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless My Specialty Dentist and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Colorado.

Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Site after modifications are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
