Dr. Anthony Reganato, DDS, MS, is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and the proprietor of The Center for Periodontics and Implant Surgery in Buffalo Grove, Illinois. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from New York University College of Dentistry in 2005, completed a two-year general practice residency at Long Island Jewish Medical Center where he held the chief residency position, and then earned a dual certificate in periodontology along with a Master of Science in Clinical Dentistry at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. His graduate research there focused specifically on aesthetic outcomes for single-tooth implant restorations in the visible front portion of the mouth. Dr. Reganato developed a proprietary minimally invasive gum grafting procedure called Alloderm Reverse Tunneling (ART), a technique he created as a more precise alternative to existing recession treatments. He serves as a guest lecturer for dental implant companies and has presented at Annual Meetings of the American Academy of Periodontology in Los Angeles and Philadelphia.
