Dr. Barry Simon is a board-certified periodontal specialist with 19 years of clinical experience serving patients in Newark, NJ. He earned both his DMD and a post-doctoral certificate in Periodontics from Rutgers School of Dental Medicine, where he now serves as Vice Chairman of the Department of Periodontics. Dr. Simon is a certified instructor with the Institute for Advanced Laser Dentistry and specializes in advanced laser periodontal therapy, including the LANAP protocol, along with conventional periodontal treatments, frenotomies, and TMJ therapy. He believes the best periodontal care combines both laser and traditional techniques, carefully chosen based on each patient's individual needs.
