Dr. Bruce Wardell is a certified specialist in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics serving patients at Wardell Orthodontics in Glen Ellyn and Schaumburg, Illinois. He earned his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry and completed his Certificate in Orthodontics from the University of Louisville in 2009. Before entering private practice, Dr. Wardell served four years as a dental officer in the U.S. Navy, including seven months deployed to Iraq with the Marine Corps 2nd Battalion in 2005, and completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at 32nd Street Naval Station and Balboa Hospital in San Diego. Orthodontics runs deep in his family: his grandfather practiced general dentistry for 38 years, his father for 30, and his brother is an endodontist with 11 years of practice.
