Dr. Chad Silver is a pediatric dentist at Pediatric Dentistry of the North Shore, serving children from infants through teens at offices in Northbrook, Highland Park, and Lincolnshire, Illinois. He grew up in Northbrook and was once a patient at this very practice, giving him a personal connection to the community he now serves. Dr. Silver earned a B.S. in Psychology from Indiana University before completing his Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD) at the University of Illinois-Chicago, where he served as class president and graduated as Chief Resident. He completed his pediatric dental residency at UIC in 2021. His research investigated how oral inflammation affects the timing of dental eruption in children. Dr. Silver is especially passionate about caring for children with special needs, including those with autism, ADHD, Down syndrome, and cerebral palsy. Parents consistently recognize him for turning deep dental fear into comfort, handling extractions and frenectomies with a calm, unhurried manner that even the most anxious children respond to. He is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Dental Association.
