Dr. Daniel Kaplan is a board-certified endodontist with more than 20 years of clinical experience dedicated to saving teeth through the diagnosis and treatment of dental pulp disease. A lifelong Midwesterner from Glenview, Illinois, he earned his undergraduate degree at Northwestern University and completed both his Doctor of Dental Surgery and specialty certificate in endodontics at the University of Illinois College of Dentistry. Following graduation, Dr. Kaplan gave back to his training institution by teaching part-time at UIC, helping shape the next generation of dental specialists. His clinical range extends beyond Chicagoland: Dr. Kaplan spent time providing dental care on the Hopi Reservation in Arizona, bringing focused endodontic expertise to a community with limited access to specialty care. He now practices at Old Orchard Endodontics in Skokie alongside two fellow endodontists, with access to cone beam CT imaging, surgical microscopes, and digital radiography. His guiding principle is straightforward: the patient comes first, and every treatment decision pairs that commitment with the most current endodontic techniques available.
