Dr. Derek Bock, DMD, MS is a co-founder of Forest Orthodontics and Pediatric Dentistry in Lake Forest, Illinois, where he brings one of the most specialized orthodontic backgrounds in the North Shore region. He earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 2003 and completed his orthodontics residency and Master of Science in Oral Sciences at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Dr. Bock then pursued a rare one-year fellowship in craniofacial orthodontics at the University of Illinois Craniofacial Center, gaining focused training in treating children born with cleft lip, cleft palate, and other craniofacial syndromes. His clinical research has been published in the Journal of Craniofacial Surgery. In practice, Dr. Bock offers a broad range of treatment options, from Invisalign and Damon self-ligating braces to the nickel-free Norris 20/26 system, as well as accelerated treatment tools including AcceleDent and Propel. He conducts consultations in both English and Spanish and welcomes patients of all ages, from early childhood screenings through adult orthodontic care.
