She earned her dental degree from the University of Georgia and completed a specialized 2.5-year orthodontics residency at the Medical College of Georgia. Dr. Howell was inspired to become an orthodontist when her own orthodontist closed a gap in her front teeth when she was 14 years old, and she now brings that same passion to her patients.
