Dr. Erez Nosrati is a Board Certified Periodontist and Dental Implant Specialist with over 15 years of experience in periodontics, oral implantology, and oral pathology. He earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine from the Hebrew University Hadassah School of Dental Medicine and a Master of Science in Cardiac Physiology from the Hadassah School of Medicine in Jerusalem, giving him rare clinical insight into the documented link between gum disease and heart health. He completed his periodontics residency at Indiana University School of Dentistry, where he served as Chief Resident and class president, and earned a Master of Science in Dentistry through a program conducted in cooperation with Riley Children's Hospital. Dr. Nosrati founded the Department of Periodontics at Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine in Chicago and currently serves as faculty at Loma Linda University School of Dentistry. As a member of the Straumann Speaker Consortium, he lectures nationally and internationally on periodontology, implantology, and the cardio-systemic connection. He performs all surgical procedures using surgical microscope magnification and microsurgical techniques, with a focus on preserving natural bone and gum tissue and leaving virtually no visible signs of surgery.
