Dr. Eric Eisen is the founder of Eisen Orthodontics in Deerfield, Illinois, and has served Chicago's North Shore, including Highland Park, Northbrook, Lake Forest, and Lincolnshire, since opening his private practice in 2008. A native Chicagoan, Dr. Eisen brings an unusually deep scientific foundation to orthodontic care: he earned both a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Molecular Biology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign before completing his Doctorate of Dental Surgery with honors and a three-year orthodontic residency at UIC, earning his Certificate in Orthodontics and a Master of Science in Oral Sciences in 2002. That background in biology informs how he reads tooth movement and bone response at a structural level, not just a mechanical one. He was among the first orthodontists in Chicagoland trained in clear aligner techniques and brings more than 20 years of experience with the Damon Smile self-ligating system.
