Dr. George A. Mandelaris, DDS, MS, FACD, FICD is the founder of Periodontal Medicine & Surgical Specialists, LLC, with offices in Oakbrook Terrace and Glenview, Illinois. He holds dual board certifications as a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and the American Board of Dental Implant Surgery, a distinction held by very few periodontists in the country. Dr. Mandelaris earned his DDS from the University of Michigan and completed his periodontal specialty training at the University of Louisville, where he also earned a Master of Science in Oral Biology. He holds active faculty positions at the University of Illinois College of Dentistry and the University of Michigan Department of Periodontics, and serves as an examiner for the American Board of Periodontology.
