Dr. Howard Weisbart earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois in 1972, his Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1974, and his endodontics specialty in 1976, completing all three degrees at the same institution. Immediately after earning his DDS, he joined the University of Illinois faculty as an Instructor of Operative Dentistry, a role that reflects his early mastery of dental technique and his commitment to clinical education. He began his clinical career in general dentistry on Chicago's north side alongside his father before completing his endodontic specialty and dedicating his practice to root canal treatment and dental surgery. Throughout his career, Dr. Weisbart taught continuing education courses to general dentists throughout the United States, shaping how fellow practitioners approach the specialty. He holds life membership in both the American Association of Endodontists and the American Dental Association and is a member of the Edgar Coolidge Endodontic Study Club. Though retired from active clinical care, Dr. Weisbart remains a foundational presence at Old Orchard Endodontics, where the standards he established continue to define patient outcomes.
