Dr. Iwei Huang, DMD, MS, is the founder and owner of Gold Coast Orthodontics in Chicago, Illinois, with more than 23 years of clinical experience in orthodontics. He earned his undergraduate degree in Psychobiology from the University of California at Davis, his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Harvard School of Dental Medicine, and completed a Master of Science in Oral Biology alongside his full orthodontic residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Born in Taiwan, raised in Brazil, and a Chicagoland resident since 1998, Dr. Huang brings rare clinical depth to complex cases. His scope extends well beyond conventional braces: he performs orthognathic jaw surgery co-management, maxillomandibular advancement for obstructive sleep apnea, total temporomandibular joint replacement, and surgically facilitated orthodontic therapy.
