A native of Decatur, Illinois, Dr. Kohl completed his undergraduate, graduate, and post-graduate education at Northwestern University, choosing to build his career in the Chicagoland community he came to call home. He completed a General Residency at Evanston Hospital before dedicating himself exclusively to orthodontics. Dr. Kohl distinguished himself early by adopting Invisalign when it was still emerging technology, becoming one of the first orthodontists in the region to offer the treatment. He understood that orthodontics sits at the intersection of art and science, and he invested continuously in his skills through study clubs, pilot programs, and professional seminars, viewing every hour of continuing education as a direct investment in his patients.
