Dr. Jason Schrotenboer holds both a Doctor of Dental Surgery and a Doctor of Medicine in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, both earned at the University of Michigan. His path to oral surgery began as a patient: at 18, he had 11 dental implants placed, an experience that shaped his understanding of what patients face before, during, and after surgery. His surgeon became his mentor, a Northwestern-trained specialist who influenced his collaborative approach to care.
