Dr. Jeffrey C. Wight is the founder of East Valley TMJ, Facial Pain, and Sleep Center in Mesa, Arizona, where he limits his practice exclusively to the diagnosis and treatment of chronic orofacial pain conditions. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Orofacial Pain, a credential held by fewer than 300 dentists in the United States. Dr. Wight earned his BS in Kinesiology from Arizona State University, his DDS from Loma Linda University, and completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at AT Still University before pursuing a two-year specialty residency in orofacial pain and dental sleep medicine at UCLA, where he served as chief resident. His path to this specialty is personal. He experienced chronic head and neck pain himself, and that journey shaped his commitment to helping patients who face the same challenges. Dr. Wight understands that chronic pain affects physical, emotional, and psychological well-being. He works with each patient through active listening and open communication to build individualized treatment plans that address the root causes of pain rather than managing symptoms alone.
