Dr. Kelly Bast earned her DDS from The Ohio State University School of Dentistry after completing a Biology degree at Bradley University, where she also competed as an NCAA Division I cross country and track athlete. She moved to Fairbanks, Alaska with her family in 1980 and returned in 2005, originally intending to stay just one year before putting down permanent roots in the community she grew up in. That personal connection shapes how she practices. At Fairbanks Family Dental Care, Dr. Bast delivers a broad scope of care that goes well beyond routine cleanings, including dental implants, bone and gum grafting, root canal therapy, TMJ treatment, and sleep apnea care. Her clinical range means patients can receive both routine and complex care without being referred out.
