About This Provider
Dr. Mark J. Steinberg, DDS, MD, FACS is the founder and senior oral surgeon at North Suburban Oral Surgery, bringing more than 30 years of surgical experience to patients across the northern Chicago suburbs. He holds dual doctoral degrees, a DDS from Northwestern University School of Dentistry and an MD from Hahnemann School of Medicine, and is board-certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. His fellowship in the American College of Surgeons places him among an elite tier of credentialed surgeons in the United States. Before entering private practice, Dr. Steinberg served as a professor of surgery at Loyola Stritch School of Medicine, chief of the division of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Loyola University Medical Center, and program director of its surgical residency. He has published textbook chapters and lectured nationally and internationally.
