Dr. Martin J. Rogers is a board-trained endodontist and clinical faculty member at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC), where he has served as a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Endodontics since 1996. A Chicago native, he earned his DDS from UIC in 1992, completed a general practice residency at Illinois Masonic Hospital, serving as chief resident the following year, and returned to UIC for advanced endodontic specialty training, earning his certificate in 1996. He currently serves as course director for endodontic microsurgery in UIC's postgraduate program, a position that places him at the leading edge of the specialty's most technically demanding procedures and means he is actively shaping how the next generation of endodontists is trained. A past president of the Illinois Association of Endodontists, he also holds membership in the American Association of Endodontists and the Chicago Dental Society. Patients consistently describe his work as painless, efficient, and clearly explained.
