Dr. Maureen Munnelly Perry, D.D.S., MPA, MAEd, is a nationally recognized leader in special care dentistry and serves as Director of The Center for Advanced Oral Health at Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health (ATSU-ASDOH). She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Special Care Dentistry and holds fellowship status in both the Academy of Dentistry for Persons with Disabilities and the International College of Dentists. As a former president of the Special Care Dentistry Association, Dr. Perry brings national leadership to a field that most dental practices are not equipped to serve. She has spent her career focused on patients with intellectual and physical disabilities and those managing complex medical conditions including cancer, hemophilia, organ transplants, kidney disease, and cardiac disease. At The Center for Advanced Oral Health, she directs a team of student doctors who train under direct faculty supervision for three or more years, developing the clinical judgment needed to treat patients that general dentistry routinely cannot accommodate. Her approach is anchored in a simple belief: proper dental care is every person's right.
