Dr. Michael Elasaad is a board-certified endodontist and Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics, the highest credential a root canal specialist can hold. He graduated as valedictorian of his dental class from Kansas State University in 1995 and completed advanced specialty training in endodontics at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 2002. In 2005, Dr. Elasaad founded Naperfield Endodontics in Naperville, Illinois, a practice dedicated exclusively to endodontic care. That exclusive focus means every hour of his nearly three-decade career has been spent diagnosing and treating the conditions that threaten teeth from the inside. He uses cone beam CT imaging to plan treatment in three dimensions before touching a tooth. Dr. Elasaad travels several times each year to study the latest advances in endodontics, including regenerative therapies that can restore function in teeth once considered unsalvageable.
