Dr. Milan Doshi is the founder and owner of Doshi Orthodontics in Elmhurst, Illinois. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology summa cum laude from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute before attending the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine on a Dean's List scholarship, where he earned his D.M.D. and was inducted into both the Matthew Cryer Honor Society and Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Society. He completed his specialty residency in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics at Tufts University, serving as Class President and receiving the Dr. Edward G. Austin Scholarship. His residency research used 3-D CT imaging to study how the upper jaw responds to palatal expansion forces, giving him a precise, evidence-based foundation for complex case management. Dr. Doshi was first introduced to orthodontics as a teen patient himself, and that origin shapes how he works today: honest communication, individualized treatment plans, and a genuine focus on each patient's comfort and goals.
