Dr. Milton L. Davenport III earned his DMD from Harvard School of Dental Medicine and completed his endodontic residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) College of Dentistry. He grew up in the south suburbs of Chicago, beginning his academic path at Augustana College, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude in Biology on a music scholarship, and went on to conduct original research at Harvard on how autoimmune diseases affect oral health. That research background gives him a diagnostic edge with medically complex patients that most endodontists simply do not have. Before founding Advanced Endodontics of Chicago in 2010, Dr. Davenport served as an Associate Clinical Professor in UIC's Department of Endodontics, training the next generation of specialists. Patients consistently credit his ability to identify and resolve difficult cases involving tooth pain and jaw pain that other providers missed, along with a clear communication style that makes even anxious patients feel informed and at ease. He founded Advanced Endodontics of Chicago on one standard: pain-free, compassionate endodontic care that patients and referring dentists can trust at every appointment.
