Dr. Paul Castelein has practiced orthodontics in Princeton, Illinois since 1972, bringing more than five decades of clinical experience to patients across the Illinois Valley. He earned his DDS from Loyola University in 1966 and completed his graduate orthodontic training at Northwestern University, where he received his MS in Orthodontics in 1972. Before entering private practice, he served with the US Navy attached to the US Marine Corps. Dr. Castelein is board certified by the American Board of Orthodontists, a credential he has held for more than 26 years, and in 2014 was installed as ABO President, the highest leadership position in American orthodontics. He shares his knowledge as an adjunct clinical professor in the Department of Orthodontics at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry. He has served as president of four professional organizations: the American Board of Orthodontists, the Illinois Society of Orthodontists, the Edward H.
