Dr. Shanna Kim is the founder of Reno TMJ and Sleep Clinic and the only board-certified orofacial pain specialist in the Reno-Sparks metro area. She earned her DDS from UCLA School of Dentistry, completed a residency in orofacial pain and dysfunction at UCLA as Chief Resident, and extended her clinical training at Cedars-Sinai Pain Clinic and the Mayo Headache Clinic. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orofacial Pain (ABOP1336, certified 2011), holds Mastery I and II certification in dental sleep medicine, and is Level I and II certified in cone beam CT imaging interpretation. She was the first clinician to establish a dedicated orofacial pain specialty practice in Nevada and currently serves as Associate Clinical Professor of Orofacial Pain at UNR School of Medicine.
