Dr. Vikash Huliyar, DDS, MS, is the founder of Neo Endodontics in Chicago's West Loop and a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics, a board certification requiring rigorous examination and advanced training beyond standard specialty requirements. Born and raised in Chicago's western suburbs, Dr. Huliyar completed his dental surgery degree in Bangalore, India, then earned both his DDS and Master of Science in Endodontics at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Before focusing exclusively on endodontics, he spent four years in general dentistry across Rockford, IL and Phoenix, AZ, building a clinical foundation that sharpens his diagnostic judgment across a broad range of presentations. Dr. Huliyar uses CBCT 3D imaging and surgical microscopy to locate hidden canals, root fractures, and complex anatomy that standard X-rays routinely miss. His clinical capabilities extend to regenerative procedures for immature permanent teeth, endodontic microsurgery, and same-day emergency care. Three levels of sedation, including IV sedation, are available for patients who experience dental anxiety. At Neo Endodontics, Dr. Huliyar serves as the sole endodontist, meaning every patient sees the same board-certified specialist at every visit.
