Dr. Thomas Reynolds is a board-certified ophthalmologist and founder of Chattanooga Vision Center, where he has served patients across Southeast Tennessee for nearly four decades. He graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, earned his medical degree from the University of Tennessee College of Medicine in Memphis, and completed his internship and residency at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Dr. Reynolds is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and holds Fellow status in the American College of Surgeons. In 2024, he earned Diplomate status from the American Board of Orofacial Pain (Certification ABOP1689), adding a second board credential to a clinical profile that already spans four decades of practice. He is among the earliest adopters of the Voyager DSLT, a three-second non-invasive laser for open-angle glaucoma that has freed more than 80 percent of treated patients from daily eye drops. His surgical expertise includes advanced no-glasses cataract surgery with multifocal intraocular lenses and a broad dry eye management toolkit. Chattanooga Vision Center also draws patients from Northwest Georgia and Northeast Alabama.
