Dr. Yvette Battle is an orthodontic specialist and the founder of Bronzeville Orthodontics in Chicago, IL. She graduated at the top of her class from Howard University College of Dentistry in 2008, then completed her orthodontic residency at the University of Maryland Dental School in 2015, earning a Graduate Certificate in Orthodontics and a Master of Science in Oral Biology. She made history there as the first African-American woman named Chief Orthodontic Resident in the program. During her training she also received the Outstanding Student Honor from the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain. Before specializing in orthodontics, Dr. Battle served four years as a Captain in the United States Air Force, serving as Clinical Chief over a staff of 20 and as Chairperson for Infection Control, building the disciplined clinical standards she brings to every patient today. She currently serves as associate orthodontic faculty at Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine and mentors future dentists through the Student National Dental Association. At Bronzeville Orthodontics, she offers clear aligners, traditional braces, ceramic braces, InBrace, and professional whitening to the Bronzeville community she calls home.
