Dr. Ronald S. Jacobson is a board-certified orthodontist and co-founder of Jacobson & Tsou Orthodontics, with locations in Chicago, Vernon Hills, and Barrington, Illinois. He earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery and his Master of Science in Orthodontics from Northwestern University Dental School and achieved Diplomate status with the American Board of Orthodontics in 2005. A second-generation orthodontist, Dr. Jacobson joined his father, Dr. Bailey Jacobson, in the practice in 1989, building a career that spans clinical care, published research, and organizational leadership. He has published and lectured extensively on cleft lip and palate treatment, surgical prediction in orthodontics, and the clinical application of computer technology. He took that commitment further by designing the custom orthodontic software the practice uses today. Dr. Jacobson has served as past president of the Edward H. Angle Society Midwest Component, the Illinois Society of Orthodontists, and the North Side Branch of the Chicago Dental Society.
